Hilda K. Szabó
photographer

The imprints of nature, details, and time.
Through my photographs, I invite the viewer not only to see, but to feel and to reflect.

About me

I am Hilda K. Szabó, a photographer. My journey in photography began in the early 1970s, and after several decades away, life led me back to creating images.
During my excursions, I have always sought to capture subjects that hold a special meaning for me. At first, I focused on landscapes, flowers, and architectural photography; later, my attention increasingly turned to the beauty and meaning found in the details.

Encouraged by my family and friends, I enrolled in the beginner, and later advanced, photography courses of the Szentes Photo Club in 2011. Following this, I became a member of the club, where continuous learning and professional development awaited me.

Digital technology is especially close to me, as it allows me to select the most expressive images from many captures. Through my work, I enjoy revealing my own world—creating photographs that delight the eye while also inviting reflection.

Artistic statement

From flower photography, I evolved toward a more refined way of seeing, where details become stories in their own right.
Once I choose a subject, I work on its realization with deep interest and immersion.

My aim is to create images that go beyond the experience of a first glance.
